Where do I come from? What am I here on earth for? Where am I going to?
These questions, at some point in time in life have been asked consciously or otherwise. In the silence of our hearts, our thoughts tend to gravitate towards such deep questions. Is there more to life than being born, growing up, and eventually dying?
Emphatically yes! There is more to life than meets the eye. There is a reason for life! Everything in the world did not just happen. There is a God who perfectly designed everything we see; from the oceans, to the islands, to the mountains and valleys, the animals the trees and all the beautiful things we see, including man, the Masterpiece of His creation.
God made you with a purpose. His plan for your life has always been good and perfect. He says; “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jer 29:11” It is for this reason that the destroyer, the enemy of your soul (Satan) does everything in his power to frustrate you with unpleasant circumstances.
It is however comforting to realize that, God’s love for us remains unchanged even in the most difficult situations. He longs for you to accept and affirm it in your heart without any speck of doubt. He chose you before the foundations of this world to express His glory. You are the object of His love. People may take you for granted but God doesn’t. He longs for you today to know that He designed you with a purpose. He created you to be fulfilled. He did not bring you into the world to fail, to be frustrated, to be sick, to be weak and to be ordinary.
His grand plan for you, is a life of power, of peace, of health, of prosperity, of joy and of love. Choose this day to believe in God’s love for you, knowing this that, it is only in Him that you would realize a purpose-driven life.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Pet 2:9”
God bless you!
